🍻 QueerSwap x Queer Brewing 🍻
Book Swap Social & Pub Quiz!
We are so excited to be collaborating with Queer Brewing, the UK’s first queer- and trans-owned brewery to bring you a fun, chill Sunday to enjoy with your pals as Spring sets in! We will have a book swap and social from 3-6 PM, and a pub quiz starting just after. Queer Brewing has 6 lines dedicated to beer fresh from the brewery, as well as a wide range of beer, cider, natural wine, and snacks.
All tickets are pay-what-you-can. The recommended contribution is £3-5 per activity. If you can pitch in more to help cover those who are on low incomes/unemployed, we really appreciate it! All contributions are re-invested into QueerSwap events.
📖 Book Swap & Social 📖
Bring up to 5 pre-loved books to swap! The book swap is operated on an honour system: bring books, take books! You can take as many as you brought with you. There will be spaces to sit down, settle in, and socialise with conversation cards and board games. Feel free to bring your own if you want to play something specific.
Please bring books you believe that other people would enjoy - the general rule of swapping is to bring the kind of quality items you would like to bring home with you.
More than 5 books? No problem! We’re collecting extras for the used book sale at the Big Queer Book Fair Fundraiser in May. Proceeds will help save The Common Press, a vital LGBTQ+ bookshop and community space in Shoreditch. Feel free to donate your spares!
