📣 101 WORKSHOP & MEAL: DECOLONISING REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE 📣
MSJI are so excited to be hosting the Ad’iyah Collective for a transformative 101 workshop on decolonising reproductive justice — rooted in care, community, and collective liberation.
Together, we’ll explore:
🧠 What Reproductive Justice (RJ) is
🧭 Who gets to make choices about their bodies — and how identity shapes those choices
🌱 Examples of RJ in our communities, cultures and faith traditions
🤲 What it means to build communities of care, and to ground RJ in our lived histories and present-day struggles
🔥 How RJ connects to liberation movements — from Palestine to Sudan, from resisting policing to fighting for disability justice
This workshop will be interactive, reflective, and rooted in decolonial practice. We’ll also be sharing a warm community meal together during the session — all are welcome.
Tickets are free for marginalised community members (including those who are low-income), and we ask that allies in this space donate £3 which will go towards the delivery of this workshop.
