You are cordially invited to Trans Wicked, a one-night-only reimagining of everyone’s favourite gravity-defying musical, with an all-star all-Trans cast of musical theatre nerds. And it's all raising money for Trans Pride!!
We are through accepting limits, so get ready to experience all the characters and songs you love as you’ve never seen them before, performed by UK trans icons - all raising money for the biggest Trans Pride in the world - UK Trans+ Pride.
Journey down the yellow brick road with Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero and all the Popular characters you love - and Boq - as they head to Shiz University - the first all-trans University in the land of Oz. You’ll marvel as they defy gravity, weep as they are changed for good - and even find out what happens in Part 2 before everyone else.
Proceeds from this marvel will go to Trans Pride, a staple of the community whose mission is ‘to grow a community-facing, grassroots pride celebration and protest organised by and for trans+, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and intersex people, as a means of highlighting our needs, struggles, successes, and experiences in a social and political climate where trans+ voices often go unheard.’
Now that’s some trans shiz!
