Join us on Thursday 3rd July 2025, from 1900, where Andrew Flewitt and Daniel Harding will be in conversation, talking about their new books, Do You Believe in Life After Loss? And Letters to my Younger Queer Self. As well as a great conversation, you can expect an author reading or two, and an audience Q&A.
Do You Believe in Life After Loss? Queer Stories of Loss, Hope and Resilience.
This collection of queer experiences of loss, hope and resilience explores different aspects of loss, the challenges of these situations, but also how queerness might help people to navigate change and loss and the opportunities and hope that can arise when healing begins.
Exploring experiences of loss in all its forms - from bereavement and relationship breakups to loss of community, safety and identity - the book considers how queerness might help people to navigate change and loss and asks the question: do you believe in life after loss?
Letters to My Younger Queer Self:
If you could write a letter to your younger queer self, what would you say? What advice would you share? And what would you have really wanted, or needed, to hear?
This heartfelt collection of letters written by eminent queer people across music, television, activism, comedy and politics, is a celebration of self-acceptance and an inspiring resource for anyone who has ever struggled with ‘growing up different’. Each letter is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a powerful reminder that love transcends all.
