🪩 What is Pleasure Medicine?
A day of sensuality, intimacy, joy, pleasure and conscious dance followed by a picnic in the park (or lunch in a pub if it's rainy!)
A space for GBTQ men to come together away from the bars, the booze, clubs, drugs and apps to connect in kindness using embodied sensuality practices and pleasure centred dance.
A sober, sensitive and soulful space for men to connect through music, movement and shared pleasure. No dance experience needed, just a willingness to explore joy, vulnerability, intimacy and celebratory sexuality.
Inspired by creator Gary Albert’s 7-year devotion to embodied dance practices such as 5 Rhythms, Movement Medicine and Ecstatic Dance, Pleasure Medicine is his answer to a calling in the gay community.
“I am in recovery from chemsex addiction and this is the medicine I didn’t know I needed that I didn’t know existed!”
Who Is It For?
Pleasure Medicine is a revolutionary space for GBTQ men who are:
- Feeling disconnected in a world of apps and surface-level interactions. Tired of the endless swiping, ghosting and performative masculinity. You're craving something deeper, more authentic and aligned with who you are.
- Ready to move on from trauma, shame and past wounds. Whether it's internalised homophobia or years of feeling like you're "too much" or "not enough" - this is a space of radical acceptance and gentle healing.
- Longing for genuine sensuality and intimacy. You want to be seen, held and accepted among other men without the pressure of sexual performance or expectation. Just pure, embodied human connection and fun!
- Curious about embodiment, somatic healing and free uninhibited movement. You’re interested in exploring how movement, dance and conscious touch can unlock joy, delight and pleasure in your body…
“I wanted to leave after 2 minutes as I felt so akward. But I am so glad I stayed as it was one of the most powerful and transformative things I’ve done in a long time - a beautiful evening with beautiful souls”
What To Expect
At Pleasure Medicine you can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere where kindness and pleasure are the heartbeat of the experience.
- Guided sensuality and intimacy practices that foster deep connection to yourself and others.
- An immersive music journey led and DJ’d by an experienced facilitator passionate about supporting GBTQ men to unlock their confidence, pleasure and joy.
- Opportunities to meet like-minded men seeking real connection whether it’s for friendship, creative collaboration, romance or sensual connections.
