We always begin with ground - the roots of our experience…. Solid, secure embodiment of our authentic self in movement…. We grow, move the energy to open the body into a flow of the dance, into exploring the circus of our experience in the ‘here and now’ of the present moment - awake/aware - connecting with self and others in the space…. Rejoicing in the circle of community - coming together with ground, body and breath. The heart of movement is the circle and each dancer plays their part - all parts are welcome.
No prior experience needed. Just an open mind, a open heart of curiosity and a willingness to move (at your own pace) and be moved by others…

The dance studio is spacious, bright, and airy with character. They are well-situated, 10 minutes from Finsbury Park tube and train station – on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines.

My journey began over 25 years ago when I discovered the transformative power of mindful movement and its ability to facilitate healing, growth, and self-discovery. With a background in psychotherapy and mindfulness - I found a deep resonance with the teachings of Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms and later, Open Floor & FreedomDANCE (fD).
In fD, I have found a profound invitation for individuals to embrace authenticity, creativity, and connection within a supportive community. My passion lies in guiding others to explore their inner landscapes, shedding light on the shadowy aspects of self while uncovering hidden strengths and resilience. For me, fD is more than just a dance practice; it is a celebration of the human spirit's capacity to evolve, adapt, and thrive amidst life's ever-changing currents.
As a teacher, I have taught workshops across the U.K., Europe, Russia, and Asia. I trained directly with Gabrielle Roth in 5Rhythms and am honoured to serve on the Training Faculty of FreedomDANCE. My background in Psychotherapy and Bio-dynamic Somatic Practices informs my work, allowing me to support the integration of emotional, physical, and mental aspects of being.
I am deeply committed to creating inclusive spaces where people can come together in the spirit of exploration, growth, and connection. Through conscious movement, we learn to navigate the rhythms of life with grace, courage, and an open heart. I also include ‘Breathwork’ and somatic/sound vibration practices in movement sessions as this opens channels in the body, beyond words - I also offer this in 1:1 sessions.
