Come on a chilled, small group walk with like-minded queer folks looking to connect with nature. We'll walk to the highest point in the South Downs National Park - Black Down near Haslemere - an internationally important heathland with spectacular views. As for nature, we’ll wander past ferns, heather, bright yellow gorse and huge pine trees. With any luck we’ll see some beautiful birds too.
- Distance: 14.6km / 9 miles

* Improver walks are for people who have been on half day walks before but want a slightly more challenging walk with more hills and more effort required. Everyone is welcome but it is important that we all go at the same pace, so be prepared to walk slower than usual, especially if you are used to walking longer distances more frequently. The idea is to have a chilled time connecting with nature and enjoying the journey together - not ‘smashing the hike' as fast as possible. Snack breaks and pauses to marvel at nature are encouraged!
