Tea and Talks with Dita Garbo
Sunday May 18, 2025
2-5pm
@ The Coterie, 23 Cheriton Place.
Tea and Talks is a new event by Folkestone Pride, hosted in collaboration with local drag legend and Drag Race UK alumni Dita Garbo.
The event is an opportunity for members of our local LGBTQ+ community to gather in a safe space to come together in conversation over a cup of tea and a scone, at new queer-inclusive venue The Coterie (formerly Anna's Tearooms). Chats will be guided by our host Dita Garbo, and we hope to connect over shared stories in a cross-generational setting that isn't reliant on alcohol. If you'd rather just listen, that's fine too: no-one is expected to contribute. We want you to feel comfortable, and everyone is welcome.
Tickets have been priced to be as accessible as possible, and includes a cup of tea/coffee and a scone. You will be able to purchase other bits from the menu at The Coterie, including drinks, should you wish.
Places are limited, so do book to avoid disappointment. If you can no longer make it, please contact us or return your ticket so that it can be passed to another member of the community.
