A mixture of live and Zoom encounters
We are running a series of four workshops [April 28th, May 5/12/19] at The King’s Arms, Poland Street, W1F 8QJ. Nearest tube: Tottenham Court Road. They last 5.45 – 8.00pm and they are FREEEEE!!!!
However, we’ve had problems before with people booking and then not turning up; this makes it very difficult to plan lessons if we don’t know the numbers. So we are asking for £10 deposit for the series of four, returnable at the end of the series if you have managed to come to three out of four. This does not apply to people who have been to previous workshops, who should simply email homopromos@gmail.com to tell us they want to come.
The workshops are for new/inexperienced/out of practice LGBT+ writers [plus allies, of course]. We aim to:
a] stimulate ideas and imagination through games, exercises and discussion;
b] refine your techniques and abilities through regular writing assignments and constructive criticism by the group;
c] provide a safe space where you can experiment without fear of being belittled;
d] help you to help us create an anthology of flash fiction, to be published in the autumn;
e] have FUN!!
Come along in person or attend via Zoom. Take your pick:
The Zoom tickets are on another OutSavvy entry. THESE TICKETS ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO ATTEND IN PERSON AND HAVEN'T BEEN TO OUR WORKSHOPS BEFORE.
