Night four of Girls Girls Girls: Transfemininity On Screen brings two gems about trans girls in tumultuous love.
From the perils of falling for a twink, knife play gone slightly wrong, and doll in the dark room representation in Sweden's winning emo romance Something Must Break (2014), to Dustin (2020); a pulsating 20min short about a party girl dealing with her boyfriend (Felix Maritaud) as he struggles to cope with the tension between his sexuality and her emerging womanhood.
Joining us to introduce Something Must Break is writer, and film critic Cathy Brennan.
Find us downstairs at Dalston Superstore for films about two trans women who are just trying to get by, and embrace the moments of pleasure and happiness that greet them along the way.
You're so beautiful I want to vomit

Please note that Something Must Break (2014) features a scene of transphobic violence that some may find upsetting, as well as nudity, and depictions of BDSM.
Subtitles will be displayed throughout both films.
