Speed Mates is our new night at Love Affair Basement — a speed dating event, but just for making friends.

It’s for anyone who wants to meet new people without the pressure of romance. Maybe you’ve just moved to London, maybe your friends are always busy, or maybe you just want to find folks who get you.

We’ll keep things relaxed and low-key — think quick chats, good vibes, and a bunch of lovely people also looking to connect. Come on your own or bring a friend, and leave with some new names in your phone (and hopefully a group chat that actually meets up).

When you buy a ticket - you consent to have your picture taken.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation or significant changes to the event
Tickets cannot be transfered to another person.
This event is 18+ event only. Otherwise needs to be accompanied by an adult that is over 18+
If security or any staff member asks for your ID, you have to show it.
No outside drinks or food or weapons are allowed in the venue
No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
Respect for performers, staff, and other attendees.
Violators may be removed from the venue without a refund.
The organizers are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event, except where caused by negligence.
The organizer reserves the right to make necessary changes to the event, including but not limited to lineup, timing, and venue, without prior notice
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of United Kindgom/ London
The organizer / owners and bouncers reserves the right to decline entrance to anyone they feel like would threaten the safety of LAB and it's costumers.
