SALON PERVERSE
An intimate, interdisciplinary series exploring the aesthetics of desire.
Welcome to Salon Perverse—a curated cultural salon where art, language and cinema converge to examine the rich and often transgressive terrain of kink, power and erotic imagination.
Salon Perverse offers participants an immersive and intellectually engaging experience through art, talks, writing workshops and film screenings. We invite you to think critically, feel deeply and explore the layered relationships between sexuality, identity and creative expression.
This is not spectacle. This is study. This is play. This is practice.
⟡ LIFE DRAWING
Explore the art of the body through a fetish lens in this open life drawing session. Centred on themes of kink, power, and desire, our models pose in gear and power dynamics that challenge and inspire. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this is a welcoming space to experiment, observe and sketch without judgment. All skill levels encouraged. Materials provided—bring your own if you prefer.
⟡ WRITING WORKSHOPS
Led by experienced facilitators and guest writers, our workshops offer a generative and reflective space to explore desire through language. Participants are guided through exercises that draw from personal experience, cultural theory and erotic fan fiction - writing not just about kink, but through it.
⟡ CURATED FILM SCREENINGS TALKS
From underground exploitation cinema to avant-garde erotica, each screening is selected for its historical, aesthetic or sociopolitical relevance to the evening’s theme. Post-film discussions provide context and critique, fostering collective analysis and conversation.
⟡ TALKS
As part of Salon Perverse, the curated talks and conversation bring together voices from across kink, fetish, art and activism to spark open dialogue and critical thought. These sessions offer an inclusive space to explore the intersections of sexuality, identity, desire and power. With contributions from artists, scholars and community organisers, the salon talks delve into the histories and futures of kink culture, ethical play, body politics and the role of fetish in creative expression. Whether you're deeply involved or just curious, these conversations invite participants to listen, learn and engage without judgment.
For the intellectually curious, the aesthetically inclined and the respectfully perverse.
