errante is turning one year organising community screenings — and we want to celebrate with you!
what started as a simple idea to bring people together through film, food, and conversation around migration and diaspora has grown into a vibrant community. one year in, we’re still simmering — and what we’ve been cooking is becoming something to be shared, across tables and borders.
to mark the occasion, we’re hosting a special screening of We Don’t Dance for Nothing by Stefanos Tai, a powerful and vibrant hybrid of documentary and fiction that celebrates Filipino migrant culture in Hong Kong. through a striking mix of hundreds of still photographs and movement, the film tells the story of “M,” a domestic worker navigating joy, struggle, and dreams — reminding us that to exist, to dance, to feel, is already a powerful act of resistance.
🌈 FIESTA 🌈
we let loose! the screening will be followed by a celebratory moment with Filipino ice cream and a karaoke session. no need to be a singer — bring your favourite song, your friends, and your best chorus energy. together, we’ll laugh, sing (badly if we must), and feast on the joy of being, building, and belonging.
this is more than a party — it’s an embrace of community, resilience, and joy.

errante is a non-profit, DIY labor of love.
your £7 ticket includes the screening, ice cream, and celebration — but if you’re able, you can donate more. all extra contributions will help support our future events and assist Luisa, one of our founders, in covering the costs of her UK visa fees so that we can keep building this project together in the UK.
during the event, we’ll also have our handmade errante tote bags available for £10, bring cash :)
our fiesta poster was created by our dear friend and talented designer Ivan Silva aka @ouiso_artwork, a fellow citizen of the world. we thank him deeply for donating his work to errante.
