We request your presence at The Amour Foo Summer Party 2025.
Headlining is Melbourne ledge Guy Blackman, making a rare London appearance. Guy is known for his gorgeous solo albums ‘Adult Baby’ and ‘Here Pieces’ as well as founding the incredible Chapter Music. He’s in town to show off his long awaited new album ‘Out Of Sight’ out the 13th June on Chapter. If Serge Gainsbourg, Tim Hardin or Kevin Ayers wrote songs set in gay saunas or on adult camming websites, you might get close to an idea of Guy’s approach.
The afternoon also marks the debut live performance of The Male Gays, the London/Melbourne supergroup featuring Guy Blackman and Amour Foo founder Bart McDonagh. This may be their only ever performance, dare you miss it?
Sassyhiya are THE lesbian indie pop band from South East London who will be delighting you with songs from their debut album ‘Take You Somewhere’ (Skep Wax) and possibly a couple of new numbers chucked in for shits and giggles.
My Executive Dysfunction will be his bringing angst-tinged PWL inspired party anthems for you to dance to whilst you cry.
And finally the mysterious Ironic Hill round out the bill. I won’t say much but expect found sounds and sad/funny songs.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access to both the pub and the venue, as well as accessible toilets.
Children and dogs are welcome to join the party as long as they have a ticket and behave themselves. *
*dogs don't need tickets but kids will.
