This Pride season, join The Common Press for the launch of Munroe Bergdorf's powerful new book, Talk to Me, on 5th June from 6 pm to 8 pm at Rio Cinema, Dalston. Hosted by Deborah Frances-White (The Guilty Feminist)
In times of uncertainty, our voices hold the power to create change and no one understands this better than Munroe Bergdorf. Talk to Me , is a reminder that while conversations may seem small, they can have a profound impact. Whether we’re speaking with loved ones, strangers, or online communities, Bergdorf teaches us how dialogue can shape the world around us.
In this inspiring evening, Munroe will discuss the vital importance of speaking up for change, and how we can navigate tough conversations about gender identity, beauty standards, racism, and more. Talk to Me, offers readers the tools to advocate for positive change, including how to shift perspectives, own our mistakes, and cut through the noise to deliver the messages that matter.
Empowering, resilient, and deeply human, Talk to Me invites us to reflect not just on how we talk to others, but how we talk to ourselves. Through activism, allyship, and self-reflection, Munroe shows us that change begins with the courage to start a conversation.
Don’t miss this chance to be part of an evening of solidarity and community.
