STARDUST starring Star Dust (In person) is a gloriously unhinged, gold sprayed cabaret meltdown from a fallen Star who's lost it all but won’t stop singing.
Join Star Dust in her living room as she rises like a gold-sprayed phoenix, to reclaim her legacy one power ballad, emotional spiral and audience interaction/singalong at a time.
This is a gloriously silly and savagely honest transformation of loss and grief into something absurd, funny and profound.
Expect glamour, chaos, clowning, a confetti of catharsis, and a show-stopping finale of hope.
Please join us on this Edinburgh Fringe debut party ride. Its a work in progress/preview to get those nuts and bolts in place.
Doors downstairs at 7:30pm but our beloved venue is open from 5pm for ‘prees’.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any access needs, please see the below and do get in touch if further info is needed.
STARDUST starring Star Dust (In person) has been created by "witty, mad, hilarious" (Time Out) theatre maker and cabaret shaker Kat McGarr (She/Her) who has worked extensively with Punchdrunk as a performer and creative including their most recent London show The Burnt City - writing/co assoc directing and performing in Peep Cabaret. She is also a founding collaborator of Gideon Reeling including co creating/writing/directing their sell out Starty Cabarets (Soho Theatre, Shoreditch Town Hall).
Musical collaboration and keys; Robyn Herfellow (They/Them) the friendly face of filth, brings joy and chaos to cabaret & theatre settings. From their own anarchic musical comedy, most recently presenting the first London run of their solo work, Body Stocking Legion - "Herfellow’s ability to capture an audience and take them on a journey is something to be in awe of” -

Broadway World (Body Stocking Legion), to accompanying cabaret's finest talents including; Séayoncé (as man-hating accomplice Leslie-Ann), drag unroyalty Jonny Woo, Mawaan Rizwan & The Tracksuits, and Kat McGarr in the creation of STARDUST.
