Time: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: CoCo Collective Garden, Bellingham

CoCo Collective and TRIBE invite you to ROOTED – a free community day of growing, grounding and gathering in the lush heart of Bellingham.
This space is intentionally created for Dark-skinned Trans and Queer folks, families, and allies to connect with land, rhythm, and each other. This is your space to feel held, affirmed, and honoured.
Together, we’ll plant, reflect, eat, learn and create in the spirit of joy, rest, and community care.
Expect a grounding welcome circle, hands-on gardening, a land-focused prayer led by an Iyanifa (@ifadiwuratempleuk on IG), a tea and rest zone, a nourishing plant-based meal, and a collective conversation exploring the question: What are we growing towards?
Whether you’re an experienced grower or touching soil for the first time—come as you are. This is a soft, intergenerational space rooted in Black love, land justice, and the wisdom of slowing down.

About Us
We are TRIBE—a duo curating music, art, and community spaces rooted in care, creativity, and collective power. Centring Black and POC Trans and Queer people, we flow between live music, movement, workshops, and conversations to build slow, lasting networks of joy, resistance, and belonging.
Inspired by West African teachings like Gidi Gidi Bu Ugwu Eze (“In unity, there is strength”), TRIBE is not just an event series—it’s a living movement for connection, liberation, and shared transformation.
Join us to sow seeds of joy, healing and future dreaming.
