After three consecutive sell-out events we bring you the latest instalment of one of the finest underground techno nights in the UK - and it's our second birthday too :)
Expect an awesome range of quality techno, an intimate and inclusive raving space and a friendly and up-for-it crowd.
This time, along with our usual lineup of quality residents and guests, we bring you a DJ whose productions have been on heavy rotation for us for a couple of years - and who we recently saw tear up the White Hotel in Manchester for Meat Free.
MANNI DEE
[ Tresor / Perc Trax / Earwiggle / Black Sun Records ]
Since 2013’s ‘Pareidolia’ EP, the London-based producer and DJ has been turning out breakneck warehouse fillers with an ear for the unsettled. He has become a repeat offender on Ali Wells fronted Perc Trax, culminating in the anarchic ‘Throbs Of Discontent’ EP and last year released his debut album through Tresor Records.
Manni has also seen releases on imprints such as Leyla and Osiris, petrol-fuelled offerings such as ‘Cameron On A Guillotine’ offset by skippier exploits, like the disjointed mechanics of ‘Romantic Self’. As a DJ, he has performed at some of the world’s premier techno haunts, including the underground’s most public frontier, Berghain, and Midlands bass-dungeon House of God as well as Tresor, Corsica Studios, Shelter and has recently toured the Far East, USA and all over Europe.
ARONDEUS
[ Nexus / Techno.fm ]
Disco-infused warehouse rave. Occasional drum machine and synth hybrid set stuff. You might hear: wonky stuff / vogue samples / acid lines / big kicks. You probably won't hear: Drumcode / Ibiza techno.

AURA SOUNDS
Aura Sounds is a DJ based in Manchester's bohemian Northern Quarter. Growing up on a diet of 80s electro and 90s house, Aura has cultivated an appetite for EDM, House and Techno music and has a bona fide addition to bass. It was this passion that ultimately led Aura to finally get behind the decks for herself last year.
Aura has honed her skills with the continued help of DJ Mark One and the School of Electronic Music, and can be found on the decks at every available moment. She draws inspiration from the likes of Carl Cox, Amelie Lens and Adriatique.
Aura is looking forward to firing up the decks at NexusTechno's 2nd birthday in June.

NEXUS HOUSE RULES:
* Be excellent to each other:
We’re very happy that you’ve chosen to rave with us: look after yourself and each other. If you or someone needs help see a party organiser, text us (number available on the night) or find a member of the venue staff. “Ask for Angela” if you need immediate assistance or someone is making you feel uncomfortable.
* Everyone is welcome:
Nexus is an inclusive night - and everyone should be able to party with us and feel comfortable, regardless of age, gender identification, sexuality, ethnicity, style or any other trait. If you feel like you are being made to feel unwelcome, or you witness behaviour that is discriminatory, please let a member of the venue staff or the party promoters know.
* No photos / video on the dancefloor please:
Have a dance and talk to people and stuff. There’s people here that might not want to be in your snaps and videos always turn out rubbish anyway. Some of the best parties we’ve been to have this guideline and it really works. Trust us and try it out
* Don’t be a pain:
Our venue is great and the staff are brilliant. If you do illegal things you are risking their licence and jobs – so if we see you taking drugs or being an arse to other people we will ask you to leave.
