Radical Rest: Soundbath & Sauna Social
Join us for an evening of radical restoration against borders!
We are inviting you to a rejuvenating evening at Glengall Wharf Garden for a sound bath, delicious food and sauna! This is a fundraiser to cover our community member's visa fees so please buy a donation ticket even if you can't attend. Please share far and wide so we can meet their goal. You can find out more about the fundraiser here.
Collective rest and healing are an essential part of organising towards a just world where all trans and queer people can live safely and in community. That's why for this fundraiser we're centring radical restoration as a way to resist borders, make community and build resilience.
Dre Ferdinand, our sound bath practitioner, will craft a relaxing and restorative sound bath immersed in the verdant garden. We'll also have delicious drinks and yummy fresh homemade food. There will be beautiful crafts and art by Yaya for sale too!
This space will be an opportunity to relax and connect with others, explore the garden and nourish all your senses.
All the proceeds from tickets, food, sauna and sales will go towards our dear community member's visa application fees.
