Chiron Choir (pronounced KY-RON) were founded by multi-hyphenate Hannah Catherine Jones as part of her solo exhibition Owed to Chiron (The Wounded Healer) in 2022 to nurture a queer diasporic choral community that centres healing collectively through voice. Chiron Choir have performed live regularly in London, including at Barbican Centre, Southbank Centre, Camden Arts Centre, Unit 8 and Rivoli Ballroom amongst others.
Island Girl is a DJ, banjoist, and vocalist, she weaves together the sounds of traditional jazz, folk music, and urban beats, creating something completely unique. Her music is an exploration of cultural heritage and the diasporic experience, blending old-world melodies with modern grooves.
Land In Our Names was founded under an apple tree in 2019. Since then, we've been through multiple lockdowns where our access to the outdoors was extremely limited. Our work has evolved and grown, building off the work of collaborative projects such as Cultivating Justice, Rootz Into Food Growing and Jumping Fences, we have been centring community events such as Fallow, Seasonal Gatherings and our Dandelion Garden drop-ins. A big part of our work over the past two years is raising money and building our strategy for setting up a Land Project in Britain.
