Splish splash, we're back!
Our FREE introductory kayaking sessions, run in collaboration with Laburnum Boat Club, are back for 2025!
We're running several sessions over the summer, and in each one we'll develop basic paddling skills, teamwork and water-confidence, all under the care and instruction of Laburnums' very experienced Paddle UK qualified instructors. All equipment (including bouncy-aids, harnesses and splash-proof jackets) will be provided, but as part of all the fun, you can expect to get wet!

We'll be releasing new tickets for each month's sessions gradually, so if the class below is full, don't worry, there's plenty of opportunity to join the next one! This event is being run by The Love Tank in partnership with Laburnum Boat Club.
The kayaking sessions will last for two hours, and are based from Laburnums' club site in Hackney, right next to the canal.

Failing to show up without prior cancellation takes a spot from someone else and wastes resources, including food and venue costs. 💜 To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone, please arrive on time. Our events are not drop-in sessions, meaning attendees must arrive at the start time and stay for the duration. We allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals - after that, entry will not be permitted as it can be disruptive to the group. Additionally, the entrance is not monitored after the grace period, so there will be no one available to let latecomers in. The event hours are clearly stated in the description, so please plan accordingly. Thank you for understanding and helping us create a welcoming space for all!
