🌟 Join us for a banner-making workshop giving visibility to the powerful stories of our common struggles .
💭 A 2-day textile workshop stitching stories, weaving solidarity and creating community banners. The banners will be displayed in a group exhibition at the end of the year.
Noria invites you to a hands-on collective banner-making workshop where we will use the medium of textile banners to reflect on the bonds and challenges within and between marginalised communities.
Priority will be givien to those who attended Noria's Embrace programme workshops this year.
This is a two-day continuous workshop, and we strongly encourage participants to attend both days.
- Day One will explore themes of solidarity, connection, and shared resilience.
- Day Two will focus on imagery and the collective creation of banners.
While attending both days is encouraged to fully experience the process, you’re welcome to join for just one day. Please note, however, that the workshop is designed as a continuous journey, and each day builds on the last.
✨ Why Join?
- To create, bond, and share together.
- To connect with people from similar backgrounds and different experiences.
- A chance to contribute to a collective vision of a better world.
