Welcome to the ATINUDA Ecosystem…
ÀTINÚDÁ is a Yoruba word meaning “From within we create”.
Who we are
We are grassroots organisers building a creative ecosystem for Black people of African, Caribbean, Mixed, and Indigenous heritage, in solidarity with the Global Majority.
We draw inspiration from radical Black and African traditions, expanding our imagination(s) of what is possible for us to collectively create.
We are grounded...
As we recognise that we travel with the knowledge of many lives and stories, of those past and present, both seen and unseen, as we build together towards our futures of collective liberation.
By necessity, these liberated futures must be anti ALL forms of oppression, with an intentional and radical inclusion of ALL Black people.
Introduction to the screening of ‘Everything Must Change’, by Zahra Delilah, Reel News, and Rowan Mataram:
Cost of living, climate change, food, housing, land: the multiple crises we face are deeply interlinked, which means the solutions are too.
“Everything Must Change” explains how all these crises – and the accompanying spiralling price rises – have come about, and shows how a just transition away from a free market extractive system based on exploitation to a renewable energy system based on peoples needs can solve all of them.
Drawing on the experience of numerous inspiring social movements, the film shows how climate change driven by profiteering from our global systems has destroyed our planet and increased inequality. We need to transform global infrastructure and services to be people oriented, by building a global mass workers and peasants movement to enact a just transition.
For the people, by the people, and never for profit. Because governments and big business aren’t going to do it for us.
Come to the community screening at The Liberation Centre in Brixton, and stay for a discussion after the film bringing together likeminded people who want to discuss housing, food, anti-poverty and land.

Who can attend?
Everyone who is interested in discussing our interconnected struggles and solutions.
As this is a collaborative partnership event (with the wonderful support of @ooto.impact), it is open to all to attend. However, we will be intentionally centring the perspectives of people who have been historically and continuously locked out of these conversations (for us this means Black communities, especially Black young people, Black Queer, Black Trans and Black Disabled people), as we think about concrete steps we can take together in our local communities and as part of the wider social justice movement.
Movements are made up of connected communities. In order to build a movement that can adequately enact intersectional change, we need to be a meaningful part of that conversation. We need to believe that a better, more sustainable future is possible, and understand the part that we and our loved ones play in it. So bring a +1 or even a +2.
We look forward to seeing you there!
As this is a free community event, in order to help make this work more sustainable we welcome donations to support how we resource the ATINUDA ecosystem.
If you cannot attend, please do let us know in advance so we can release your ticket to other people.
