The evening programme will be divided into two parts: a panel discussion and a series of performances.
🌜Panel Discussion:
This conversation will explore how we can stay motivated in the fight for migrant justice within a society increasingly shaped by far-right and anti-migrant narratives, as well as fleeting social media trends. It will also explore how art can be used to support migration-related activism.
🌜Performances:
This is a space to celebrate migrants. Too often, public discourse around migration focuses solely on oppression and hardship. While it's true that migrants face disproportionate challenges, they are also powerful, creative, and resilient individuals. This segment is dedicated to honouring that resilience and showcasing the vibrant work migrants are doing, not just in response to adversity, but as creators in their own right.
🌞This event is part of Skaped's Artivism Festival:

Join us at St. Margaret’s House for a vibrant gathering of community, connection, and collective action. This is a space to explore how we can stay grounded and joyful in the midst of a crumbling empire.
Expect great food, hands-on workshops, market stalls, and community organisations offering guidance and information. In the evening, sit back and enjoy a diverse panel of artists and activists alongside dynamic performances.
Whether you’re new to artivism or deeply rooted in it, this festival is about feeling resourced, inspired, and connected, not just for the day, but for the work ahead.
