The Platform
The Platform started in the basement of Off Broadway bar in Hackney, in 2008. It is a performance-focused event, surreal, abstract, absurd, radical, political, humorous and non-sensical. Heavily influenced and inspired by DaDa and The Surrealists and Situationist International. It is however, the 21st century and the practice presented here will refelct that, or not.
It continued in other places and spaces over the years and now it is back in another basement in Hackney, form Ray's bar (as it was once called) to now Karaoke Hole.
