Kick off Halloween season at our screening of Jennifer’s Body — the underappreciated sapphic horror movie we all deserved in 2009. The film will be accompanied by introductions, an intermission, raffle prize giveaways, and a post-credit dance.
Lis (they/he) is an LGBTQ+ anti-violence educator, horror film nerd, beloved cat dad and loyal friend. While they advocate for queer and trans inclusion, the UK healthcare system continues to fail trans people like them. Gender identity clinic waitlists stretch into decades, forcing us to turn to costly private care. These systems are broken by design: underfunded, gatekept, and deliberately inaccessible. That’s why we rely on each other.
Help us raise what the UK fails to offer, so Lis can access the care they need and, (equally important) become a boy Jennifer Check would happily eat.
- Doors at 6:00pm
