We’re thrilled to be launching a brand-new film club in partnership with The Department — a space to celebrate bold, brilliant filmmaking and the women behind the camera.
Each month, we’ll gather for Happy Hour at Ferns before heading upstairs to our cozy cinema room, where we’ll screen a curated selection of four short films directed by women. Expect stories that surprise, unsettle, and inspire — spanning feminist theory, perfect comedic timings and unexpected laughter.
After the screening, we’ll host a conversation with one of the directors and open the floor for a relaxed, engaging dialogue about the films. This is not just about watching — it’s about connecting, exchanging ideas, and celebrating women’s voices in cinema together.
Come for the cocktails, stay for the cinema, and leave with new perspectives (and maybe a few chills).
