Bowl Cut is proud and excited to present an evening with Yama Warashi, Ayu Okakita & The Sleeves!
This is going to be a magical evening as we return to our beloved Ivy House for an evening filled with beauty and wonder.
Yama Warashi, translates to ‘small childlike mountain spirit’, is the project of Japanese artist and musician Yoshino Shigihara. Her recent EP, At My Mother's Piano, is captivating from start to finish and 2022's Crispy Moon is a true joy! She releases on one of the best labels around PRAH and is certainly not to be missed!
Ayu Okakita is an musician from Osaka, Japan. Her songs delicately flit between ambient, folk and pop. She self-produced her 2023 record Grow, Grow.
The Sleeves are the improvising duo Jack Cooper and Tara Cunningham, best known as members of versatile guitar band Modern Nature. In January 2025 they released their debut album Pond Life, a warm and inquisitive exploration of the guitar itself.
This show is going to be one for the ages, don't sleep on it!
