GAY4U returns with ‘The Pop Rave’, a pop-soaked day built for girls, gays, theys and besties on Saturday 15th November.
This is the biggest GAY4U event yet - over 500 guests expected at Night Tales, Hackney with an all-queer line-up: Jenny Walser (Heartstopper) trading scripts for bangers, radio favourite and GAY4U Founder Harriet Rose, genre-blender Bestley, and Sophie Stirling bringing Margate heat to London for one day only.
Expect nothing but pop anthems, hands-in-the-air moments and main-character energy all day. GAY4U has form too — previous events have seen SELF ESTEEM and Bimini on the decks, Jade Thirlwall has surprised the room with an impromptu set that went viral last December, and Mahalia has been spotted on the dancefloor at more than one event. It’s inclusive yet buzzy, equal parts camp and classy.
This edition of GAY4U proudly supports The Pink Noise Foundation – created by the team behind Mighty Hoopla – funding and uplifting grassroots LGBTQIA+ organisations all year round. Recent beneficiaries include groups like Not A Phase and Rainbow Migration.
