We have been organising writing workshops for fledgling LGBT+ writers since May 2024. We focus on short form fiction, especially flash fiction up to 1000 words. We aim to give you the confidence to write, and remove the psychological barriers which prevent you from writing. We have done this in person in libraries and a pub, and also run mixed live/Zoom events. Out of these workshops we derived enough material to publish an anthology in November 2024.

We are now planning a sequel, ‘HOT FLASHES’, and we're looking to you coming to workshops to contribute to it.
This series of workshops is ZOOM ONLY. We find that mixed events don't work very well, but we want to give LGBT+ people, especially younger ones, a chance to take part if they can't get to Central London. But this is something you must commit to: a series of four workshops every Monday Nov 17th - December 8th. There is a developing theme about creating character, and you will work on the same character throughout the series. You must also come on time - no admittance after 6pm.
You need to have writing materials, and be prepared to type up your work later. We also set homework, 500 - 600 words a week, although this isn't compulsory. However, we hope to print any work which fits the anthology.
