Concerned about the current backlash against trans equality?
Want to help protect and improve trans rights?
We're holding events around Scotland to bring people together to develop ideas, explore skills, share knowledge and build confidence in taking forward trans equality activism.
This is an opportunity to discuss what’s really going on behind the spin of the newspaper headlines and what the next year could hold. Let's explore community strategies to overcome the backlash and advance equality for all trans women, non-binary people and trans men.
Unsure how you can help?
Come and talk to us! Everyone can take action - perhaps you would like to talk to the media or to politicians? Or are you interested in using art, creative writing or performance? Carrying out research could be your thing, or reaching people through social media? You might enjoy helping on a information stall or training local service providers to be trans inclusive. The list is endless and we want to hear your ideas and help you develop them.
This is the registration page for the Perth event from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Thursday 19th September 2019.
When you register please tell us any accessibility requirements you have and if you need help with travel expenses. Our events have a safe space code of conduct that participants must follow: https://www.scottishtrans.org/code-of-conduct/
