Alex Burgar
You might know Alex as that knitting lesbian doing the Eurovision PhD, and that more or less sums it up. She loves a pun, she’s always on time, and she’ll charm the pants off your nan. Alex’s ‘quietly subversive’ debut hour, *Burgarmeister*, hit the fringe circuit in 2023 to great acclaim, and was shortlisted for the Lamb Comedy Productions Queer Comedy Award at the Brighton Fringe Festival. She was also a semi-finalist in the Leicester Square New Act Competition 2023.
When she’s not on stage, you can find her on the sofa, working on a sweater with her cat, because of course you can.
