She absolutely beams positivity and wellness, nothing can get in her way! This queen is so happy to be here, and cant stand to see her good friend so sad. Throughout the performance paris will be guiding and uplifting the audience & femmi with #positivevibes.
This show will be experimental, and came from both FEMMI & PARIS's love of improv, performance art and comedy. They will be taking you through the (e)motions - the highs, the lows, the manic, the depressed, the good and the bad, the light and the dark etc etc! They are both extremely excited for the start of a beautiful collaborative relationship, so be the first to experience the magic!! 🤩
ACCESS
Sadly, The Divine is currently not fully accessible. The new venue offers great opportunities to house most of our events but currently it is in need of some accessibility improvements, and we are actively working with consultants to ascertain what is needed and will be beginning a plan to upgrade accessibility as soon as we are up and running.
We will be keeping our community up to date on progress via this site and our social media channels.
Wheelchair Access
The Ground floor bar is at street level and there are no steps to enter and the main door is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. The pavement outside The Divine is wide and spacious enough for drop offs and pick-ups.
Toilets
There are no toilets on the ground floor, they are all on the lower level. The nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is at Nandos, approximately 2 minutes down the road at 148 Kingsland High Street. Nandos closes at 10pm Sunday – Thursday and 11pm at the weekend.
There are 2 sets of gender-neutral toilets on the lower level; one has 5 cubicles and the other has 3 urinals and 1 cubicle. Currently none are wheelchair accessible.
Stairs to the basement floor
There are 17 wide steps with slip resistant treads down to the lower level with sturdy handrails either side.
Basement Stage Access & Basement Bar
Once in the basement, there are two steps up to the stage. There is a small slope from the bar area to the seating and dance area.
