Trying to break into the creative industries but not sure where to start? Or curious about creative mentoring but want something more affordable, relaxed and low-pressure?

This 4-part group masterclass is a starter kit for building your creative career. It's designed to give you practical tools, and help you build confidence and clarity without the price tag of 1-to-1 mentoring.
Led by Beeillustrates and Cheer Up Luv, this monthly series is perfect for emerging creatives, side-hustlers, self-taught artists, designers, photographers, illustrators, makers, or anyone exploring a creative path.
Taking place after-hours in a working artists’ studio in East London, these sessions offer a relaxed, behind-the-scenes environment to learn + connect in a cosy creative space.

People wanting to break into the creative industries
Creatives at an early / emerging / exploratory stage
Anyone considering mentoring but wanting a more relaxed group environment
Those looking for structure, creative guidance and community

We created this workshop series as a way to use our experience to help in closing the huge mentorship gap, to share our knowledge as two industry experts with the next generation of emerging creatives, and to facilitate a supportive space for us to work together as a community to build confidence, make new industry connections, and help each other progress creatively.

4 x 2hr group sessions (one per month) focused on the key foundations of a sustainable creative career:

Understand who you are creatively, how to talk about your work, and how to build a brand that feels authentic (instead of cringe!)
Presenting Your Work
Portfolio and website advice, how to curate your work, and practical tips for showing your work professionally… even if you’re just starting out.
How to Get Opportunities
Learn where to look and how to spot opportunities, write pitches, approach clients and collaborators, and put yourself forward with confidence.
Portfolio Review Session
A supportive group portfolio review with constructive feedback, guidance and next steps tailored to you.

What is group creative mentoring?
Group creative mentoring is a collaborative learning space where we come together to share experiences, reflect on their work, and receive specific guidance from experienced industry practitioners. It focuses on skill-building, career development, and peer exchange rather than one-to-one advice or individual life-coaching.

What this space is:

What this space is not:

This is not a therapy or group processing space
It is not appropriate for extended personal sharing on sensitive or potentially triggering subjects
Emotional experiences may arise, but we are not equipped to explore them in depth here

To help us respect everyone’s time and keep the session running smoothly, please try to arrive on time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we won’t be able to let you in, as the building has limited
Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded unless your ticket is successfully resold via the Outsavvy waiting list.
Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
This is a shared working building. Please be respectful of other artists in neighbouring studios by being mindful of noise levels.
This is a group creative mentoring space focused on skill-building, reflection, and peer exchange, rather than a therapy or personal processing session.
