Trying to break into the creative industries but not sure where to start? Or curious about creative mentoring but want something more affordable, relaxed and low-pressure?

This 4-part group masterclass is a starter kit for building your creative career. It's designed to give you practical tools, and help you build confidence and clarity without the price tag of 1-to-1 mentoring.
Led by Beeillustrates and Cheer Up Luv, this monthly series is perfect for emerging creatives, side-hustlers, self-taught artists, designers, photographers, illustrators, makers, or anyone exploring a creative path.
Taking place after-hours in a working artists’ studio in East London, these sessions offer a relaxed, behind-the-scenes environment to learn + connect in a cosy creative space.

Creatives at an early / emerging / exploratory stage
Anyone considering mentoring but wanting a softer entry point
Those craving structure, guidance and community

We created this workshop series as a way to use our experience to help in closing the huge mentorship gap, to share our knowledge as two industry experts with the next generation of emerging creatives, and to facilitate a supportive space for us to work together as a community to build confidence, make new industry connections, and help each other progress creatively.

There are 6 total places available per session.
Bundle ticket holders are guaranteed a place at all four sessions.
Single-session tickets are subject to availability and will be released ahead of each session date.

4 x 2hr group sessions (one per month) focused on the key foundations of a sustainable creative career:

Personal Branding
Understand who you are creatively, how to talk about your work, and how to build a brand that feels authentic (instead of cringe!)
Presenting Your Work
Portfolio and website advice, how to curate your work, and practical tips for showing your work professionally… even if you’re just starting out.
How to Get Opportunities
Learn where to look and how to spot opportunities, write pitches, approach clients and collaborators, and put yourself forward with confidence.
Portfolio Review Session
A supportive group portfolio review with constructive feedback, guidance and next steps tailored to you.

To help us respect everyone’s time and keep the session running smoothly, please try to arrive on time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we won’t be able to let you in, as the building has limited
Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded unless your ticket is successfully resold via the Outsavvy waiting list.
Tickets are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
This is a shared working building. Please be respectful of other artists in neighbouring studios by being mindful of noise levels.
