This evening is sure to discuss it all. ______________Sofia Robleda is a Mexican author and lives in SE London. She identifies as a third-culture kid who grew up around the world. She has lived in the UK for 8 years and began an ancestral search to discover more information about her mixed Spanish and Indigenous heritage. The result was her debut Daughter of Fire which became a bestseller in the US. Sofia is inspired to write stories focused on women and the hidden aspects of early Mexican post-colonial history, a subject that continues to be painfully relevant to this day. Liz Flanagan is an award-winning author whose previous books were for children and young adults. When We Were Divided is her first novel for adults. She teaches Creative Writing in many different settings and previously worked as a book editor and as Centre Director for Arvon at Ted Hughes’s former home, Lumb Bank. She lives in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, with herfamily and pets and loves to walk in the beautiful landscape of her hometown.Tickets are £7 + a small booking fee
