Whether stage or screen is your thing, a television pilot or a short film, this workshop is the perfect place to flesh out your ideas or end your writer's block. We welcome those of all abilities, come together, meet likeminded individuals and start your next project.
Els has years of experience in writing for stage, specialising in short plays and monologue pieces. She has recently transitioned to screenwriting, having just wrapped on her directorial debut 'What's Up With Isabelle Birch?'.
Sam is an experienced indie writer, director and producer. Their pieces range from short form, experimental work to feature length film, notably the award winning 'Lesbian Vampires from Outer Space'.

The Fairer Set with Hannah Dingle
Often production sets have been considered to be biased, inaccessible, unfair
workplaces - but change is happening, with many embracing a more equal
practice.
Inclusive Content Producer Hannah Dingle discusses current inclusive industry
changes, and how we as creatives can work to embrace, encourage, and
implement these practices across digital, photo, video, and film production.
The workshop will be divided into two halves:
1. Behind the Camera [production, crew, development]
2. In Front of the Camera [contributors, performers, talent]
Each half will be split into three subjects:
1. Accessibility
2. Marginalised Individuals
3. Sensitive Subject Matters
So whether you are an established creator looking to expand your practice, or
someone new to the industry with concerns about inclusivity, this workshop will
give you a set of resources to help you create a fairer and more enjoyable set for
everyone.
This will be a relaxed workshop, information will be sent beforehand in Easy
Read format. Support workers and service dogs are welcomed.
