Bachata Class and Social Dance

Dykes Who Dance is 1 year old! We are hosting a beginner/improver bachata class and mixed-level social dance at the Actors on 17th February!

This event is QPOC-led. (Allies are welcome, of course.)

19.15 Doors open!

19.30-20.30 Beginner bachata class (teacher - Freya!)

20.30-22.00 Social dance (free to attend)

**We are charging a general admission of £8.50 to cover the booking fee and the cost of the teacher and the venue. We have a limited amount of £5.50 concession tickets available, but it would be very appreciated if you could pay the full amount so that we could cover the operation and fund towards our next event. :)

About Freya:

Freya started dancing salsa and bachata as a follower in 2022, and slowly fell in love with leading and role rotation. She is a current student of EDB as she believes you never stop learning. Her favourite is bachata moderna, and she is excited to see if she can help others catch the bug for social dancing.

Freya has previously helped out with bachata and salsa classes around Brighton but this will be her first time teaching beginners with the wonderful Mariam Hussein.
