📍 The Divine (Dalston)
🗓 Monday 16th February
🕕 From 6pm
Join us for a cosy, low-pressure crafty social where we’ll be making patches that celebrate who we are, what we stand for, and what we want the world to know — softly, proudly, and on our own terms.
This isn’t a workshop and there’s no expectation to be “good” at crafting. It’s a hang. A table full of supplies. A chance to make something small but meaningful while chatting, connecting, and sharing space with other queer folks.
🧷 What we’ll be making
We’ll be bringing a generous spread of materials so you can explore freely and make as much as you like, including:
- Fabric
- Paints
- Stencils
- Stamps
- Inspiration ideas to get you started ✨
There’ll be space for:
- Pronouns
- Identity labels
- Values & statements
- Jokes, softness, rage — all welcome
✨ You’re welcome to make as many patches as you want during the session — for yourself, for friends, or just to try out different ideas.
🌈 The vibe
✨ What to expect
Expect a chilled afternoon in a safe, queer-affirming space where we can take a break from our screens, get our hands busy, chat with like-minded people, and make new connections along the way. Whether you’re making something that reflects your identity, your values, or just something cute, there’s space for it all.
And of course, you’ll take home all your creations at the end of the night 😊
Silly little crafts for our silly little mental health 💖
Accessibility
Our event will take place on the ground floor of The Divine, which is fully wheelchair accessible. It has step free access and an accessible toilet.
