Booters is back for 2026, with a new home for the new year: Sí Hombre! in Stoke Newington, Hackney!!
After a series of Performative Butch contests and spin-offs across South London, Cork, Dublin, Paris… we're coming back to Hackney for a classic Booters diner event. WHAT TO EXPECT
- Come for a feed of burgers and chips, served up by your favourite butches and studs in our classic Booters uniforms!
- Sí Hombre! will have beers and cocktails too, with the bar co-managed by the Booters team.
- We'll have some of our butch/stud servers perfoming in the aisles and on the mic to show you a bit more of their personalities ;)
- And to give our attendees a chance to shine, we'll have some audience interaction entertainment where we'll see if anyone in the crowd can beat the Booters with a can of whipped cream xx
- Booters is a night to celebrate all butchness, with food, art, drinks and performance. The organising team are all dykes, majority identifying as butch and/or trans - including trans women and trans men.
PAY IT FORWARD/ LOW-INCOME TICKETS
As always, we want this community space to be available to butches and trans people even if they can't pay for a meal out. So we have a pay-it-forward scheme for anyone who wants to subsidise a meal for a butch, stud or trans person on no/low income. We will be making these £7 meal options available a few days after standard tickets go on sale, to give time for people to make pay-it-forward contributions - keep an eye on our Instagram for details on this.
We will also be welcoming d¥kes who don't want a full meal to hang out in the bar and catch the vibes that way :) please message us if you are a butch/stud/trans+ and the contribution is a barrier!
DIETARY NEEDS/ ALLERGIES FORM
To let our chef Paz know about any allergies/ dietary requirements, there will be an option to tell us when checking out. If you have any issues or forget to tell us, please DM us on Instagram.
BOOTER BUCKS
The servers will be paid for their work, but tips are always appreciated! You can buy “Booter Bucks” on the door or at your table at the start of the night, and we will give you paper “cash” equivalent to the amount you buy so you can chose who your Booter Bucks go to. Bucks are £1 each with a 2p machine charge if paying by card.
Booter Bucks are 100% tips that go directly to the server you hand your dollar to :)
ACCESSIBILITY
- The main dining event will be taking place on the ground floor, which is step-free throughout with moveable chairs and tables.
- There is a 2-inch rise at the main entrance, please let us know if this will pose issues for your mobility aid!
- The main event space will be set up with an approx 1.5m-wide “runway” through the middle which will be kept clear for drag-style performances as well as easier movement from one end of the bar to the other.
- Downstairs there will be a bar area with lower lighting, less seating and a mini pool table set up. This is where we will be directing non-diners when teh upstairs gets full, to keep butch speakeasy vibes going til close!
- There are also two gender-neutral toilets downstairs.
- There are no toilets on the ground floor, though the venue is one minute down the road from The White Hart pub which has a ground floor accessible toilet.

CONTENT NOTICE
Please note that while our name parodies an infamous restaurant, we take the approach that all expressions of butchness are sexy. Our servers are encouraged to wear whatever makes them feel butch which may or not be revealing.
While this is not a kink event, it may contain nudity and/or aspects of kink (depending on what our servers choose to do), please be aware of this when purchasing tickets. Any audience participation requires the clear consent of both servers and attendees involved.
We will also have a photographer from our community taking pictures/videos. If you don’t want to appear in any pictures, please let a team member know when you arrive so we can make sure you are sat in a good spot that won’t get papped!
MERCHANDISE
We have merchandise! You can buy your very own Booters tees as seen on our servers, in two colour options. We even have a line of hats and mugs, and all merch is available for worldwide shipping! We are just having technical issues with adding merch to the events link but this will be live soon, DM us to place an order in the meantime :)
