Lug Hole 007: The Libretto of Lion & Lamb
In like a lion and out like a lamb; March is a time of extreme change. We leave its fierce cold beginnings behind us as we close the month with a bit more sun, a lot more growth, and the soft maaaaa ble(e)ts of new lambs - and you know that where there are bleats we will be Bleeting! It’s our seventh bl**ting Lug Hole for bl**t’s sake!
The Libretto of Lamb & Lion sees us return to The Piehouse to welcome in the Spring Bleet!-style with our customary array of artistic talents, all united by their intrepid exploration of words, sounds and the inbetween.
Heading up our seventh lineup, we have the sumptuous stylings of Nadeem Din-Gabisi, the multi-talented poet-songwriter and visual artist. Din-Gabisi’s 2025 album ‘OFFSHORE’ is a Bleet! favourite, we implore you to listen if you haven’t already. We will also be joined by Toby Evans-Jesra (of leather.head and Lobby), and his illustrious instrumental guitar quartet, artist and writer Hannah Clarkson who, like us, delights in the power of dressing-up and make(-believe), and the wonderful Theo Dunne joins as our host for the night!
It wouldn’t be a Lug Hole without a brand new Bleet! zine! (!) We are beyond thrilled to be presenting our ninth edition by the Irish artist and writer Frank Wasser! Frank’s work snags, stutters and interrupts... Be prepared to reassess how you read!
Free tickets for Personal Assistants or Essential Companions - just email us at email: bleetzine@gmail.com to let us know!
Let’s see in the spring Bleeting together!
