A Spring Equinox Creative Wellbeing Retreat, full of loads of soul nourishing activities, all designed to help us celebrate the pockets of light and life and joy that comes with the spring equinox. I love to celebrate these milestones, especially as a die-hard summer baby. It is a real joy to slow everything down, and come together to celebrate nature, and the way she shifts in her magical cycles.
Let's celebrate daffodils, snow drops, lambs, butterflies and our own magnificent bodies by creating, nourishing, moving, breathing, writing, all the good stuff!
The retreat day is facilitated by Polly, founder of Love Club. The schedule looks like:
-Embodied Yoga practice and Meditation
-Opening circle and Journaling.
-Creative writing and poetry (exploring some fun techniques)
-Lino print workshop
-Closing circle, and Spring Ritual.
Bring your own lunch, but some snacks and constant teas provided! The days are stitched together with tea breaks, if you haven't been to one of these events before!
The world is all feeling a lot at the moment isn't it? It feels more important than ever to connect to small moments of joy when we can, to replenish our cups and allow moments of rest, so that we can keep giving back to others. To (re-)connect with our activist spirit (whatever that looks like for you!) and essentially stay as ok as we can, whilst consuming pretty horrifying things online on the daily. I hope this retreat can be a way to experience some joy, care and wellbeing, and to restore a bit of energy to connect back into the collective field, and keep fighting for justice.
The tickets are sliding scale so that as many people as possible can attend, but I ask that you pay for the tier that you can afford, leaving some of the lower tier options for those on a very low income if that is not youuuu. 10% of your ticket price will be donated and split between The Angelou Centre in the North East and Palestine Play Projects.
We've kept our prices the same pretty much since we first running these retreats nearly 3 years ago- paying for the tier you can afford allows us to keep going. I always want to keep the prices as accessible as possible, but also valuing the creativity and love that goes into running them! Thank youuuu
