what if the dancefloor was a space for deep listening?
lineup
full writeup & about here
this is the first longer-form event by dance:music, and will be an experiment in the following:
- centring care, comfort & community
- exploring different ways of doing things financially
- (limited) monetary exchange inside
- no alcohol
- food!!!
- ‘dancefloor as a space for deep listening’
this means:
capacity is strictly limited so that we all have space to dance.
a breakdown of costs is below!
the bar will be open for non-alcoholic beverages, including tea.
food will be available freely / included in the ticket price.
experimenting towards a silent dancefloor (please keep full conversations to the food-bar area or outside)
where does the money go?
how much does it all cost? here's an estimated cost breakdown. the breakdown is for a ‘standard’ ticket but as per usual, tiered tickets are available.
if you can't afford a cheaper solidarity ticket, please get in touch anyway and we'll try to sort something out. two ‘work-trade’ spots are also available--come early or stay late to help set up / pack down and get free entry. get in touch with xxxiiinnn@protonmail.com if this interests you!
