Are you bored of biphobia and dating apps? Don't miss our first bi+ speed dating event specifically for our ethically non-monogamous bi+ babes.
You asked, we listened! Off the back of our sell-out bi+ singles events, we are back by popular demand for an *poly-specific* night of bisexual bookshop meet-cutes in collaboration with Bi Bitch events.
What?
- Ice-breakers and fun games
- Multiple speed dating rounds with conversational prompts
- Low-pressure mingling for friendship AND romance!
- Stress-free support to woo your crush (or future bestie) via matching support
- Breaks (alcoholic drinks available) & accessible seating
Who?
All those who are non-monogamous and identify as bi+ (inclusive of trans and non-binary people) — whether you're partnered, single or in a polycule. This event is open to anyone under the non-monogamy umbrella, whether you're polyamorous, open, a relationship anarchist, or anything in between; you're welcome here.
Please note, this is not a cruising event, and while couples are welcome, unicorn hunting is discouraged. There's nothing wrong with looking for a third, but we're aware that bi women are sometimes fetishised by couples in the scene. This is queer event for queer non-monogamous people. Couples where one or both members are straight and 'looking for a third' are discouraged.
This event is as much about growing your bi-specific community as romance or a new play partner.
Why?
Biphobia can show up most in dating, due to the stereotypes being so much about sex and relationships, and we experience this from all sides. And if you're poly, there are additional challenges to navigate, from judgment from monogamous people to navigating queerphobia in polyamorous communities.
So, it’s a relief to meet people who just get it! This is your chance to have cathartic chinwags about dating dramas and meet future wing-folk for support on your bi+ journey.
And, who knows, maybe sparks will fly, just in time for a summer fling.…
About the facilitators:
Florence Scordoulis (she/her) is the founder of Bi Bitch: bi-specific events in London and online, which aim to empower the bi+ community, foster connection and help you say bye to biphobia, from speed-friending to singles nights and more.
