You did it! You survived the winter and Spring is basically on our doorstep!!
That means it’s high time to celebrate. So come join us - the South East London Queer Choir - on Friday 27th March at Matchstick Piehouse for our BIG SPRING GIG.
A night of singing, dancing and general queer chaos and a chance to fundraise to take the choir on tour around the UK, linking up with fellow justice-oriented queer choirs and spreading the good word…that collective singing is powerful, joyful and needed in these scary times more than ever.
Expect pop bangers, protest songs, a bit of a sing-a-long and a couple of hours of dancing (and flirting) to DJs until 1am.
If you’ve ever wanted to hear a room full of queers and allies sing their little hearts out and proceed to descend into delightful chaos, this is for you babe.
Doors @ 7pm. Get down early to join in some of the singing (led by our cult-leader and choir director Geneveive) and performances will begin at 7.30pm. There’ll be stickers and some merch on sale to help add to the tour fund pot!
Accessibility info: Matchstick Piehouse is wheelchair accessible. There will be seating near the front for those who need it.
