Join our local councillors, Hyde Park community and Rainbow Junktion friends for an evening of home-made Bengali food, live entertainment and a fabulous raffle, raising funds for both Leeds Hyde Park FC and Rainbow Junktion.
This evening will feature a 3 course Bengali meal with vegan and gluten free options, a reasonably priced bar with both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and a raffle. All profits will be split between 2 amazing local organisations, so give generously if you can! Leeds Hyde Park FC is a grassroots team that supports many children and adults in the local area to access sport and friends, and needs cash to keep up their good work.Here's a little message from the team:
Hello! We are Leeds Hyde Park FC, established in 2017 to serve the local community. We run football activities for all age groups, girls and boys, on Woodhouse Moor, Hyde Park. We are proud to have 400 members and seek to continue growing. We are also the biggest club within Leeds at the moment offering women’s football, with four teams training and competing regularly. Our goal is always to support members in our local community. We do this by providing free sessions for girls, as well as sponsoring and subsidising 60% of our junior club members. We never turn anybody away, there is no waiting list, and everyone is welcome to join. The money raised from this event will go towards growing the girls’ teams and to continue sponsoring our players. It will also help us provide equipment and kits for the kids. We really appreciate any support for our club!
Rainbow Junktion, based here at All Hallows Church, turns waste food into pay-as-you-feel meals and also supports a hundred local families a week with our Foodshare. As prices rise for families in our area, we are getting less and less donations and more and more people asking for help! Your support goes directly to providing our community with friendship and food.
As always, we welcome all our community to come and enjoy food and fundraising with us. Our tickets are at various price points, so you can give according to your rescources. However, if price is a barrier, please get in touch with us via our email and we will ensure you do not miss out on this evening.
All Hallows has accessible and gender neutral toilets availiable, and is wheelchair accessible with step free access. We have a quiet room to escape the noise if needed.
