Witness the diverse world of The Magic Circle
Diversity Role Models invites you to the home of worldwide magic, The Magic Circle, for an unforgettable performance by LGBT+ magician, Katherine Rhodes.
Bestowed with the society’s highest degree awarded to only 300 magicians worldwide, the Inner Circle membership, this elite magician will bring to life a diverse performance to mark Anti-Bullying Week, and will call upon her highest abilities to astound the auditorium.
Katherine is the first female in the society’s history to receive The Cecil Lyle Award from The Magic Circle, so Diversity Role Models couldn’t be more grateful to have this trailblazing role model with us to mark this important week for diversity and inclusion.
Arrive at the atmospheric pre-show bar and enjoy a drink amongst memorabilia of magical history while transfixing your mood on the wonders to come with some close up magic before being guided to the auditorium for the main event!
Tickets for this exclusive performance are limited, so don’t miss out and book early.
WIN our fabulous prize draw on the evening courtesy of Virgin Atlantic!
*Prize draw tickets will be sold on the night.
Who are Diversity Role Models?
Diversity Role Models actively seeks to embed inclusion and empathy in the next generation. Our vision is a world where everyone embraces diversity and can thrive. This will help create a world where future generations embrace, accept and support difference. Our mission is to create an education system in which every young person will know they are valued and supported, whoever they are.
What do we do?
We create safe spaces where young people can explore difference and consider their role in creating a world where we all feel accepted. Our student workshops feature LGBT+ or ally role models who speak openly about their lived experiences, building young people's empathy so they can understand the (often unintended) impact of their language and actions. In order to ensure sustained change we supplement this by training school governors, staff, and parents/carers.
