London is home to the largest older LGBTQ+ population in the UK, yet their housing needs and experiences continue to be widely overlooked. Recent research has highlighted clear inequalities — from discrimination and a lack of inclusive housing options, to limited accessible information for those making later-life housing decisions.

We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of a new practical resource created through the Making Safe Housing Choices project, a collaboration between academics, Tonic Housing, Stonewall Housing, policy makers and older LGBTQ+ Londoners. This event marks the culmination of extensive community engagement and celebrates the voices that shaped this guidance from the ground up.

The session will showcase a newly completed, accessible and inclusive tool designed to support older LGBTQ+ people in navigating housing decisions with confidence and dignity. Join us to explore the resource, hear from those involved in its creation and help us share it with the communities who need it most.
