Heart to Heart: Origami Hearts & Self-Reflection
Heart to Heart is the opening gathering in a new series exploring self identity and how it shapes the way we build community.
In this workshop we will create origami hearts while engaging with guided prompts about identity, and belonging.
Participants will:
• make paper hearts
• write a letter to themselves
• reflect on questions around self-definition and self-care
• share conversation prompts in a gentle group setting
This gathering invites us to slow down, be honest with ourselves, and explore how the way we see ourselves shapes the way we connect with others.
No crafting experience needed, just curiosity and openness.
This series explores the journey from self, to outside relationships, and reciprocity.
Through creative workshops and guided conversations, we explore how self-understanding shapes the way we build and care for community.
Upcoming gatherings include:
March 29 — Two Peas in a Pod: Community Mapping
A pod-mapping session inspired by transformative justice frameworks where participants reflect on their personal definitions of community and support systems.
April 12 — Give More, Take Less: Bracelet Making
Participants create intentional bracelets that will be exchanged with a randomly assigned partner while reflecting on generosity, reciprocity, and the relationships we want to cultivate.
