QX Magazine in association with Jason Reid presents QX Cabaret Awards 2019.
A celebration of LGBTQ+ cabaret.
The QX Cabaret Awards are the only UK awards dedicated to LGBTQ+ cabaret, and QX Magazine and Jason Reid are very excited to be collaborating on this historic vote and ceremony, reflecting the variety of cabaret in 2019.
The public voting will take place over six weeks, from Wednesday, 7th August 2019.
Panel voting will take place from Wednesday, 18th September 2019.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 2nd October 2019 at Hungerford House, Victoria Embankment, London WC2N 6PA.
Hosted by esteemed cabaret artists Michael Twaits (Pride in London, Pride’s Got Talent, Art of Drag, CellarDoor) and Son Of a Tutu (Award winning international drag queen, activist, face of Primark Pride). Additional performances on the night from the best of the London cabaret scene.
Doors open at 18:30. Showtime 19:30. Stay on free of charge for Circa Club's after-party.
All proceeds from the event are going to AKT helping support their vital work creating safe homes and better futures for LGBTQ+ young people.
There are fourteen categories open to public voting and two special awards in the QX Cabaret Awards.

The Voting:
Anyone can vote for their favourites from the lists of nominees via www.qxmagazine.com/cabaretawards until Wednesday, 18th September 2019. The top five from each category will then be shortlisted and judged by a panel of cabaret and drag industry experts. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, 2nd October 2019.

Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible, but we, along with venue staff, will endeavour to meet any other needs where possible.
The venue has gender-neutral toilets.
